How Not To Fail Your First Bikepacking Adventure
by Kelly Heikkila | at Minnebar20
Coming from a backpacking background, with ankles and knees that won’t survive forever, I’ve been wondering about bikepacking. Bike touring never really appealed to me. Paved country roads are terrifying. Combining Mountain Biking and camping and some backcountry-ish stuff did sound fun. Chris Warren, Mathias Rechtzigel, and Jason Hartfield, all experienced bikepackers, graciously agreed to help us all learn in this Q&A format. Ask your own questions and share your horror stories, too!

I'm an Art History major turned developer, app architect, product manager, founder and CTO for tech companies since 2000.
Before transitioning careers into tech I worked in the film industry as a Location Manager during the Mighty Ducks, Fargo and Little Big League era, if you are old enough to remember those movies.
I love adventures big and small, especially in the outdoors.
