"Recruiting Hacks: Tips for Leaders, Hiring Managers and Senior Team Members to Boost the Talent Hunt"

by Paul DeBettignies | at Minnebar 18 | 1:00 – 1:45 in Harriet | View Schedule

For my 2+ decades helping grow teams one of the most overlooked parts of an effective recruiting function is the role leaders, hiring managers and senior team members play in attracting, interviewing and hiring their new teammates.

While part of my consulting work, I have not done this as a “formal” session and want to debut it at Minnebar.

2/3s presentation and 1/3 group conversation so we all can elevate our role in the recruiting and hiring process.

Who should attend:

Leaders of companies (C-Suite and VP titles) Hiring Managers Team members who interview their future teammates

Topics will include:

  • Writing compelling job descriptions including content that most are missing
  • Having a presence at community events, meetups
  • LinkedIn profiles, content to post and frequency
  • Interviewing skills, process and strategy
  • Elevating employer and team brand
  • Basic to intermediate level sourcing
  • Networking and referrals
  • Working with your recruiting team as an ally versus a speed bump

*If you don’t or can’t attend, do this one thing in the next weeks: do your own recruiting fire drill (audit) from application through onboarding to be sure you have the best candidate and new team member experience possible.
