Bio

I'm an independent service design consultant and civic event organizer.

I help businesses and organization realize their opportunities by facilitating the inclusion of Service Design principles and practices into their development processes. Encouraging a broad range of stakeholders to creatively consider, prototype, test and reconsider their and others' roles in a service delivery ecosystem results in ideas and solutions that could not be discovered without their participation.

The engagement and enthusiasm that results from these approaches helps to ensure that the progress made will not disappear once the consultant leaves. It's not about providing an answer or solution. It's about helping organization discover new ways of thinking about their capacity for creative and innovative problem-solving and arming them with the tools to act.

I've organized multiple design and technology events, including Twin Cities Service Jam, Hack for MN and Capitol Code.
