Well, of course. And with a little humor and creativity, this discussion is intended to help broaden the vocabulary used to talk about design and animation. Expect a brief breakdown of several storytelling tropes and techniques, what makes each one relevant to web design, and a proposal for how to replace ambiguous industry phrases (like “surprise and delight”) with meaningful discussion of the narrative goals for creative digital work.
