I'm a technologist who needs tangible, real-world evidence demonstrating the benefits of my work. I've satisfied this by developing software products and computational modeling systems in the realm of Earth Analytics, currently as the Director of Applied Technology at RESPEC.
My professional experiences have given me a unique depth and breath. Over the last 25 years I’ve worked at companies ranging from 1 to 40,000 people. I’ve started my own company and been on both sides of mergers/acquisitions. I’ve taken bonuses when things go well and foregone my own paycheck when things haven't. I’ve hired great people, had to let others go and myself once felt the sting of being laid off.
I've designed cloud environments and managed contracts, lead teams and planned product road maps, programmed IoT sensor and wrangled data.
Whatever the form and whatever my role, I'm most at home applying technology and leading product development teams for an organization with a clear and meaningful mission.
