Scott Schanke

Bio

Scott is a second year PhD student in the Information and Decision Science department at the Carlson School of Management. His broad research interest is in how companies should communicate with their stakeholders online. To ground the analysis of the communication on these mediums and devise strategies for businesses, he uses frameworks from linguistics and other social sciences in tandem with machine learning, digital experimentation and other empirical techniques. Prior to becoming a PhD student, Scott spent 4 years working in consulting for Accenture where he worked in various Technology Architecture and Big Data roles for Fortune 500 firms.
